Peak Performance Specialized Facility recognizes the challenges & needs, characteristic of non-ambulatory persons with developmental disabilities, residing within a specialized service setting. Our purpose is to operate an effective specialized adult residential facility that accommodates up to four non-ambulatory consumers ages 18-59. We develop & implement a therapeutic milieu that addresses all aspects of the residents’ needs (e.g. physical, motor, medical, behavioral, psychiatric, social, recreational, communication, etc.) Peak Performance Specialized Facility will operate on a behavioral model and treatment will focus on the individual needs of each resident. In essence, our purpose is to teach these individuals to cope with their physical & developmental disabilities, to provide alternatives to inappropriate & disruptive behaviors and to coordinate any services necessary to promote self-reliance, confidence and the highest quality of life.
